2. What is the meaning of Halal and how does it help?

Halal is an Arabic word which means lawful or permitted.
Dhabiha is the humane process of slaughtering by removing all blood from an animal or bird. The jugular vein is slit in one sharp motion and all the blood in the animal must drain out. It’s a strict ritual which ensures that the animal doesn’t suffer.This ensures that all the toxins are released from the animal and it is safe to eat for the end consumer. Hence, it is healthier for the person eating the meat. In addition to being healthy, the resulting meat turns out to be tender and much tastier to the regular meat when cooked.

3. Are the meats processed using any antibiotics and growth promoting hormones?

No. All the fresh meat is 100% NON GMO. All are meats are antibiotic free, free range and fed a 100% vegetarian diet.

4. Do I need to register or create an account before making a purchase?

No. You can use our guest checkout option. However, we encourage you to create an Account while making a purchase. You can track your orders through your account.You will also have the option to re-order from your order history.

5. I haven’t received my order confirmation email.

Your order confirmation e-mail is sent to the e-mail address linked to your Halal Genie Account immediately upon placing your order. If you do not receive it, please check the junk or spam folder in your email client. If you still cannot locate the confirmation, you may log into your Halal Genie Account and select 'Order History' to view all your orders. If the order you placed does not appear, the order was not successfully confirmed. 11. What about Delivery and Minimum Order Quantity?

We offer FREE Next Day delivery on orders over $100 ( some exceptions apply)
A delivery fee will be charged for orders less than $100. A minimum of $50 purchase is required to process the order.

12. Do You have to be present at the delivery location to accept delivery?

We request that you be available in person to receive your order during the delivery window selected at the time of checkout. Our delivery partners will send a text message when they pick up your order. This text would include a link to your tracking number. From there, you can track your order in real time and will have an estimated time of delivery.

If a customer is home, we will have them sign for the package.

If not, the package will be left at your door and we will take photo proof of delivery. A final text will be sent informing you about the completed delivery.

13. Does Halal- Genie deliver on holidays?

Currently we do not provide delivery on Legal Holidays like
New Year’s Day January 1st, Martin Luther King Day (Third Monday in January), Presidents Day(Third Monday in February),Memorial Day (Last Monday in May),Independence Day(July 4th),Labor day (First Monday In September),Columbus Day(Second Monday In October),Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Easter Sunday and Christmas day.

We recommend that you order your items a day before the mentioned holidays to get your delivery.

14. What is our Return Policy?

We strive to provide supreme service and top-quality products to our customers. We recommend that you to inspect your Meat and perishable items at the time of delivery. If you are not satisfied, these items can be returned at the time of delivery for a full refund.It is paramount you are available to accept deliver to inspect products. 15. How is freshness maintained during delivery?

Halal Genie relies on its firm and punctual cold chain delivery to maintain farm freshness during transportation. Meats are never frozen. They are transported in insulated bags in zero-contamination packaging to ensure that no freshness is lost between the store and your kitchen.

17.What is Price Variance or Final Price adjusted based on actual product weight?

When you order any meat/deli item the weight of the product is rarely exact to the pound.Upon fulfillment when we weigh the item ordered ,we will adjust the price according to final weight of the product and correct the price.For example, a customer orders 1lb. of Boneless Chicken Breast, the actual weight is 1.1lb. the customer will be billed for 1.1lb. in the final invoice.

18. What happens when I ordered something and it is unavailable upon delivery?

In that case , we will text you informing that the item you ordered was unavailable and a refund for that amount will be credited back to your credit card. Refunds take 5-10 business days to reflect on your credit card statement.
