o Chicken Drumsticks 1 pound, with or without skin

o 4 Regular red chilies

o 8 Kashmiri Chilies

o 2 Pieces of Ginger

o 3 cloves of Garlic

o 1 Tbsp Black pepper

o 1 tsp Cumin Seeds

o 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder

o 2 Tbsp Lemon Juice

o 2 Tbsp Water for Grinding

o 3 Tbsp Oil

o Salt to Taste

Step 1

First soak the Kashmiri chilies and regular chilies in hot water for 30 minutes

Step 2

In a blender add the soaked chilies, Ginger, Garlic, Pepper corns, Cumin Seeds, Turmeric powder, Lemon Juice, water and grind it into a very smooth paste. Do not add too much of water while grinding, the mixture should be thick enough to coat the chicken pieces

Step 3

Make some cuts here and there on the chicken drumsticks, so that the masalas can penetrate more efficiently into the meat. Add required salt and then the freshly ground masala paste. Rub it generously on the surface of the chicken and make sure all the sides are nicely coated with the masala paste.

All the chicken to marinate for minimum 30 min - 1 hour

Step 4

After about an hour heat some oil in a pan and place the marinated chicken drumsticks one by one and fry until it gets a nice golden brown on the outside. After about 7 minutes flip the chicken to the other side and roast until each sides get a nice crispy texture and golden brown on the outside. Or in the preheated oven @ 400 F / 200 C for 30 - 40 minutes

Step 5

Our Delicious Chicken Drumsticks are ready to be served. Enjoy them when it is hot.
