o 2 pounds Goat chops
o Cloves 4-5
o Black peppercorns 7-8
o 3-4 tablespoon oil
o Green cardamoms 3-4
o Cinnamon 1 inch
o Onions sliced 3-4 medium
o Ginger-garlic paste 1½ tablespoons
o Green chilies slit 3-4
o Turmeric powder ½ teaspoon
o Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon
o Juice of 1 lemon
o Tomato puree ½ cup
o Garam masala powder 1½ teaspoons
o Salt to taste
o Fresh mint leaves chopped 2 tablespoons
o Yogurt ½ cup
Step 1
Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add cloves, peppercorns, cardamoms and cinnamon and sauté well.
Step 2
Add onions, mix and sauté till translucent. Add mutton chops and mix. Add ginger-garlic paste, mix and sauté well. Cover and cook for 4-5 minutes.
Step 3
Add green chilies, mix, cover and cook for 10-15 minutes or take two whistles in a pressure cooker. Add turmeric powder, chilli powder and lemon juice and mix well.
Step 4
Add tomato puree, mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add garam masala powder and salt and mix. Add mint leaves and yogurt, mix and cook till fully done.
Step 5
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
